Thanks to reforms implemented by the Government last year, Montenegro now has strategic reserves of petroleum products, which represent an additional mechanism for ensuring supply security - Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said.

In a post on the social network X, Spajić stated that, together with commercial reserves held by certain business entities, market stability and normal consumption have been secured for around two months.

He also noted that a session of the Council for Ensuring Secure Supply of Petroleum Products has been scheduled for today, where the current situation will be reviewed, as well as possible measures to address the challenges faced by some smaller oil companies.
