The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced a public tender for the procurement of professional drones and accompanying equipment, with an estimated value exceeding €40,000 including VAT.

According to the tender documentation, the planned procurement includes several unmanned aerial vehicles, including a drone equipped with a thermal camera, a professional aircraft designed for stable flight in both indoor and outdoor environments, as well as complete additional equipment - batteries, memory cards, chargers, multi-channel charging stations, a wireless video transmission system, and high-capacity portable power stations.

The specifications show that the the Ministry of Internal Affairs is seeking highly sophisticated equipment intended for surveillance, recording, and operation in demanding conditions. The drones are expected to have a maximum flight time of up to 54 minutes, an operational range of up to 10 kilometers, and the ability to function in temperatures ranging from minus 20 to 50 degrees Celsius.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to allocate €18,350 for two drones equipped with thermal cameras featuring a 640×512 resolution, a laser distance measurement module with a range of up to 1,800 meters, and infrared illumination, enabling operation at night and in low-visibility conditions.

According to the specifications, the aircraft should feature multiple 48-megapixel cameras, including wide-angle, medium telephoto, and telephoto cameras, with the capability to record 4K video and provide up to 112x digital zoom.
