Milatović: Artificial intelligence can create new, well-paid jobs in Montenegro

Artificial intelligence has the potential to create new, well-paid jobs and provide young people with opportunities to turn their ideas, knowledge, and ambition into reality in Montenegro. That is why we must invest in research, development, and the people who can drive the country's next phase of economic progress - President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović said.

In a post on X, Milatović said he had met with Montenegro's leading experts in the field to discuss how the country's expertise and emerging technologies could be transformed into a tangible driver of national development.

- Montenegro has talented people, a strong scientific community, and the potential to develop its own technological solutions. Our task is to connect this expertise with universities, public institutions, and the private sector so that innovation can improve healthcare and education, make public administration more efficient, and strengthen the competitiveness of our economy - Milatović said.

He added that technological development must be pursued responsibly, guided by clear ethical principles and focused on delivering tangible benefits for citizens.

- We want a Montenegro that creates knowledge, develops its own solutions, and becomes a recognized hub of innovation in Europe - Milatović said.
