Peter McCoy nominated as U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro

Peter McCoy, from the state of South Carolina, has been nominated to serve as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States to Montenegro, the White House announced.
McCoy was nominated by U.S. President Donald Trump, among others, and the nomination has been submitted to the Senate for consideration.
McCoy is an American attorney and politician who served as the United States Attorney for the District of South Carolina from 2020 to 2021.
He was also a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2011 to 2020.
