Higher State Prosecutor's Office for ETV Portal: Seven witnesses questioned in investigation against Murić, several expert examinations ordered

Seven witnesses and two representatives of the victims’ families have been questioned as part of the investigation against Rožaje native Vehid Murić (25), who is suspected of committing a triple murder in Podgorica’s Stari Aerodrom neighbourhood, the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office told the ETV Portal.
- At the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, an investigation is currently underway in the case opened against V. M. on suspicion of the criminal offence of aggravated murder committed against three persons. So far, seven witnesses and two representatives of the injured parties’ families have been questioned. Several orders for expert examinations have been issued, and the submission of the remaining reports pursuant to those orders is currently pending - the Prosecutor’s Office said in a response to the ETV Portal.
Murić is accused of killing brothers Denis (28) and Nezrin Hota (27), both from Rožaje, as well as Kenan Miraljemović from Novi Pazar, in April.
Murić was remanded in custody due to the risk of flight, the risk of influencing witnesses, and because of the particularly grave consequences of the alleged offence.
